1. Purpose of This Page

These Donor & Donations Terms set out the conditions under which donations are accepted and managed by KUPATE BG – Roma Public Council Foundation (“the Foundation”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

KUPATE BG – Roma Public Council Foundation is a non-profit organisation working to improve living conditions, education, health, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion for vulnerable communities.

Donations support charitable, humanitarian, educational, and community-development activities in accordance with the Foundation’s statutory objectives.


3. Voluntary Nature of Donations

All donations made to the Foundation are voluntary.

  • Donors are under no obligation to contribute.

  • Donations are made at the donor’s sole discretion.

  • No goods, services, or financial returns are provided in exchange for donations, unless explicitly stated as part of a specific campaign.


4. Use of Donations

4.1 General Use

Unless a donation is explicitly restricted by the donor and accepted by the Foundation, all donations are treated as unrestricted and may be allocated at the Foundation’s discretion to areas of greatest need, including but not limited to:

  • Housing and infrastructure projects

  • Education and training programmes

  • Youth and community development

  • Environmental protection initiatives

  • Emergency and humanitarian assistance

  • Organisational and administrative costs necessary to deliver charitable activities


4.2 Restricted Donations

Donors may indicate a preference for their donation to support a specific project or programme.

  • The Foundation will make reasonable efforts to honour such preferences.

  • If a restricted purpose becomes impracticable, unlawful, or no longer relevant, the Foundation reserves the right to redirect the funds to a similar charitable purpose, while respecting donor intent as far as possible.


5. Donation Methods

The Foundation may accept donations through:

  • Bank transfer

  • Online donation platforms

  • Other lawful payment methods as communicated on the website

All donations must be made in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.


6. Tax and Fiscal Information

6.1 Tax Deductibility

Donations to KUPATE BG – Roma Public Council Foundation may be tax-deductible, depending on:

Any refund decision is made at the sole discretion of the Foundation.


8. Anti-Money Laundering and Due Diligence

To comply with applicable laws and ethical standards, the Foundation:

  • Does not accept donations from illegal or unethical sources

  • Reserves the right to refuse or return donations where required by law

  • May conduct reasonable due diligence on significant donations

Anonymous donations may be accepted, subject to legal requirements.

These Donor & Donations Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Any disputes arising in connection with donations shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Bulgarian courts.
