KUPATE BG - The Roma Global Association

OUR PROJECTS

Each project is planned and executed in alignment with relevant government policies, regulatory frameworks, and international best practices. The Foundation works in close collaboration with government institutions, local authorities, development partners, and communities to ensure that interventions are effective, inclusive, and responsive to identified needs.

ALL PROJECTS

The Association implements a diverse portfolio of development-oriented projects designed to support national priorities and promote sustainable socio-economic progress. Our projects are strategically developed to address critical needs across infrastructure, public service delivery, community development, environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, education, public health, and digital transformation.

The Infrastructure Development Initiative is a flagship programme of the Foundation designed to support national and local development priorities through the provision, rehabilitation, and maintenance of essential public infrastructure. The project aims to improve access to safe, reliable, and sustainable infrastructure services, thereby enhancing socio-economic development and improving the overall quality of life for communities.

The initiative focuses on the construction, upgrading, and rehabilitation of roads, public buildings, water supply systems, sanitation facilities, and other community infrastructure. All activities are planned and implemented in close coordination with relevant government ministries, local authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with national standards, sectoral policies, and development frameworks. Particular emphasis is placed on infrastructure resilience, safety, and long-term sustainability.

A core objective of the project is to address infrastructure deficits in underserved and rural areas. Through targeted investments, the initiative seeks to reduce regional inequalities and improve access to essential services for marginalised populations. Project selection is informed by technical assessments, community needs analyses, and socio-economic impact evaluations.

The Foundation applies transparent procurement and project management systems to ensure efficiency, accountability, and value for money. Qualified contractors and technical experts are engaged to deliver projects in accordance with approved designs, budgets, and timelines. Continuous monitoring and evaluation mechanisms are used to track progress, manage risks, and ensure quality assurance.

Community engagement is integral to the success of the initiative. Local stakeholders are consulted throughout the project lifecycle to promote ownership, relevance, and sustainability. Where feasible, local labour and materials are utilised to stimulate economic activity and strengthen local capacity.

Overall, the Infrastructure Development Initiative contributes to inclusive and sustainable development by strengthening public infrastructure systems, supporting economic growth, and reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to long-term national development goals.

The Public Service Modernisation Programme is a strategic initiative aimed at improving the efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness of public institutions. The programme supports government reform efforts by modernising administrative systems, strengthening governance frameworks, and enhancing service delivery to citizens.

The programme involves a comprehensive review of existing administrative processes to identify inefficiencies, duplication, and service delivery gaps. Based on these assessments, streamlined procedures, service standards, and operational guidelines are developed and implemented across relevant institutions.

Digital transformation is a central component of the programme. The project supports the introduction of e-governance platforms, electronic records management systems, and integrated data solutions to improve accessibility, accuracy, and operational efficiency. These measures contribute to reduced processing times and improved citizen engagement.

Capacity building is prioritised through targeted training programmes for public servants. These initiatives focus on leadership development, change management, digital competencies, and ethical governance. By strengthening institutional capacity, the programme promotes professionalism and continuous improvement within the public sector.

Performance management and accountability mechanisms are strengthened through the introduction of key performance indicators, monitoring tools, and feedback systems. These measures enable evidence-based decision-making and improved service outcomes.

PUBLIC SERVICE MODERNISATION PROGRAMME

The goals of KUPATE BGRoma Global Foundation are clear, measurable, and focused on lasting transformation.

Our primary goal is to increase access to quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for Roma children, youth, and adults. We seek to reduce educational disparities and support academic success through inclusive and supportive environments.

Another key goal is to enhance employability and economic independence. By equipping individuals with relevant skills and practical experience, we aim to improve access to stable employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

We also strive to strengthen community resilience and leadership. Empowered communities are better equipped to advocate for their rights, engage constructively with institutions, and contribute to social cohesion.

Additionally, we aim to promote equality, combat discrimination, and influence policies that support inclusive development. Through partnerships and advocacy, we work towards systemic change that benefits current and future generations.

Ultimately, our goal is to create sustainable impact—change that endures beyond individual projects and contributes to a more inclusive and equitable society.
